Import duties and taxes

For orders shipped outside the EU, EU VAT is not charged. However, customs duties, import taxes and any customs clearance or brokerage fees are the responsibility of the recipient (importer of record) and are not covered by PROTEC / STEMP SRL. The customer is responsible for complying with local import rules and formalities. If duties are refused or unpaid by the recipient, we cannot be held liable for returns, destruction or additional charges levied by the carrier or customs authorities.
